Pieute x Café Béton
We’re happy to say we got our start right here in Edinburgh, while
studying at Edinburgh Napier University, and we’re proudly made in
Scotland."
Our Sustainable Efforts Currently:
• 30% of our cement is reclaimed (can be more in certain applications)
• 20-30% of our aggregate is reclaimed (can be higher in certain products)
• 100% of our packaging is recyclable / reusable.
• We offer a discounted exchange programme for any broken cups. Those broken cups can be recycled as aggregate in new cup pours
• We’ve developed a streamlined / lean production practice that limits
waste in the making process (reusable moulds, mixing / sanding tools, and finishing tools)
We continue to follow the concrete industry as more green processes are
developed, including natural cement, carbon capture, higher reclaimed
aggregate usage, and even 3D printing!

"When we started in 2018, we set out with a few simple goals;
to reimagine a material, to reinvent our daily rituals, and to highlight
and explore sustainability in the concrete industry while presenting
that to a much wider audience.
